Welcome to
BRING IT!
BRING IT is a foam packaging ( aka Styrofoam) drop off collection, recycling and repurposing partnership program between municipal locations and Foam Cycle.
Foam Cycle is a patented foam collection system designed to be placed at outdoor recycling drop-off centers for the collection and recycling of one of the most plentiful, yet least recycled plastics in our environment.
Drop-off recycling materials are called:
" Hard to Recycle" but are they really?
Once collected at a town, county or city recycling drop-off center, Hard to Recycle materials are guaranteed to be recycled, as they are sold directly to manufacturing facilities and end users in order to make new products.
Hard to Recycle materials include metals like old bicycles, air conditioners, stoves, microwaves, propane tanks and refrigerators, along with rigid plastics like old toys and buckets. Other items include old tires, metal rims, batteries, motor oil, paints, antifreeze and electronics, such as TV's, computers and printers.
The new addition to the Hard to Recycle family is Foam Packaging (aka Styrofoam) which like other Hard to Recycle materials are too big to be placed in your curb side recycling bin.
Foam Packaging is the larger foam items like food and medicine coolers, TV, electronic and furniture packaging. Also recyclable is food service foam like egg cartons, cups, plates and takeout clamshells.
So what do you have to do to get your Hard to Recycle materials recycled?
Just......
BRING IT!
Below are examples of the different types of Hard to Recycle materials that can be collected at recycling drop off centers which now include Foam Packaging ( aka Styrofoam)!
